Too weak to be mine

CHAPTER 1

Tahira's Pov

"Get up and eat Tahira!" A voice growled loudly at me and I wondered who it was. It was so dark and cold and I couldn't remember entering such a room.

"Eat Tahira!" The voice yelled loudly this time around and I panicked.

"Where am I please?" My Voice quaked with a fear that irked me to the bone. I would never do that.

"It doesn't matter where you are, eat up and get ready to meet your Alpha, he's waiting for you immediately and you don't know how dangerous he can be yet so please, eat something" The voice turned emotional at once and I could recognize my mother's voice immediately.

I wanted to say something when the door barged open and the rays of the moonlight sneaked in as he came in.

Who the hell is he and why am I sitting on a cold floor?

"Bitçh!!" He yelled and slapped my cheeks so hard with vigor.

"How long would you keep me waiting huh?" His voice echoed in the almost making the walls tremble

"Who are you?" I asked him as I rubbed my cheeks as tears stung my eyes.

"I'm your fucking Alpha and we are leaving right now!" He yelled and pushed my mother away so that she slammed her head hard on the floor and my wolf growled.

"What's happening Mum?!" I yelled at once in agony. "Where's my Dad?"

"I'm so sorry Tahira, they were going to kill him but he sold you to him instead."

I gasped in shock.

"You did what?" I asked, grabbing the iron spoon that lay beside me.

"Red Stone Pack will be in ruins if we don't do it, please go with him and be a good girl." My mum wept bitterly and I felt a huge lump in my throat.

"A good girl?" I chuckled

My hair was yanked forcefully by the strange Alpha and he dragged me out but I used the iron spoon to stab him so hard at the sensitive part of his windpipe at the side of his throat.

He gasped. My mum yelled and bulged her eyes out in shock and I used that opportunity to stick the Iron spoon deeper into his neck and he fell limp to the floor.

"I'm not a good girl and I will never be one! I'm not leaving my Pack and Kingdom for any shitty King!" I yelled

****

That happened when I was fifteen and since then I was seen as a monster which didn't bother me in any way. I became more targeted in every angle and I trained in all types of skills and became even more powerful.

A scorpion had bitten me when I was ten and I watched in dread without doing anything. I couldn't overcome my fears and I watched the horrible thing destroy me. The next terrific thing that happened to me was a cockroach.

Gosh! I can't believe I was scared of that shit until I made sure to confront my fears by sneaking out of the pack to the woods in the night to meet a swarm of them, attacking every single creature till I began with men.

I've seen countless ladies infuriate me as hell because they don't know their rights or fight for themselves when it comes to them.

I know my parents must be crying and cursing the moon goddess for my existence cause I'm the total opposite of what you will call a good princess or a good well-mannered child.

"He's not my mate, I reject him." I blurted out, staring at my parents, who couldn't believe what I just said. I've been forced to be mated to different men, my father would do anything to make sure that I get married to continue his legacy but I just see all of that as being ridiculous.

"That's ridiculous. She's in no position to choose or reject." The prince raised his voice in shock and disbelief, his apples bobbed up and down hard in a nervous manner.

"Well, I am in a position to do anything and I go for the best, not a weak riff Raff like you!" I told him and smiled, enjoying the fact that he was getting pissed.

"Tahira, he's your chosen mate. The moon goddess prophesied and proclaimed it right before our faces." My mum explained exasperatedly and I laughed inwardly.

My parents also think I'm a fool and that's why I'll play along with them, my chosen mate won't be this ugly with scattered freckles on the nose, big dark eyes, balls, and ridiculous short hair. His palms were too large, his stomach was too plump and his voice was too tiny which could make me puke at any distance.

If I ever see the moon goddess herself, I'll slap her for giving me such. I ignored them and packed my long dark hair to prevent it from flapping randomly.

"If you're in a bad mood, we can talk about this later." My dad coerced me and I scoffed.

"There's nothing to discuss. He's not my fucking mate." I screamed at them, making the so-called mate flinch.

"Are you this weird?" He blurted out, asking my parents and looking at his parents who were equally shocked at my outburst.

"Are you this stupid, that you don't know when you're rejected or when to fuck off from this palace?"

I roared at him, getting irritated at the fact that he was still there, displaying some authority that doesn't suit him a bit.

"No! You don't get to talk to your Alpha like that, young lady. You're my mate and my Future queen, I demand some respect!" He started sternly, his wolf surging through with gray orbs which dilated darkly at me.

"Calm down Prince Derrick, I believe she's just in a bad mood, “My mum said, and I rolled my eyes, not getting why my parents would want us to repeat this same dance for the past five years.

"This is so disrespectful, my king. I'm tolerating the bullshit because of you. We were specifically asked to meet to prepare the marriage feast and mating ceremony only to receive these useless insults." Derrick's father ranted, and I snorted.

"That's true, but you should be taking your leave already, he can never be mine!" I growled at him and he scoffed.

"Are you rejecting The Alpha of the Red Crystal Pack?" He asked me and I nodded.

" He's too weak to be mine."

I said, twirling my hair and watching the shock on his face.

"How dare you!!" He glared at me, coming closer to me that if I hadn't seen his type before or way over him, I would have cowered in fear.

"No, how dare you!" I stood up and walked to him and my parents shivered.

"Are you deaf that you should take your asshole out of this place, or do you want me to slash you to pieces right now?" He ruffled his hair in frustration.

"What the actual hell Tahira, do you even know who you're talking to?" He growled again at me and I sigh exasperatedly.

"I'm talking to a baseless riffraff, who keeps throwing himself at me. Is your wolf that stupid?"

He raised his hands to hit me, but I tackled him first on his stomach, making him grunt in pain. His father was too shocked to say a thing as they all gasped.

"You're crazy." He said out of pain and I smiled.

"Tell that to the birds in the air flying, I get to choose my mate, not live by some barbaric declarations. If he ever steps foot in this palace, I will kill him."

"Tahira, enough!!" my dad yelled, glaring at me.

"They came from a very distant land. Why are you rejecting him, too? This is the seventh one!! Why are you doing this?"

He asked, as if in pain.

"Because they are not always mine, Father. I will bring my mate to you when I find one." I told him defiantly but he groaned.

"But the moon goddess is…."

"Don't repeat that!" I yelled at him, cutting him off. I hate that word, I don't believe in her and I'll never will or my real parents would be alive today.

"Your daughter is crazy, King Blair. I'm seriously disappointed in all of this. The rumors about her are true. She's not only a ruthless alpha, but a monster."

"What rumors?" I asked, getting excited to be that famous across the Pack borders.

"That you're nothing but a viper!! Let's go, Derrick" His father said, and he groaned in anger.

"I get to choose who to reject and who to accept Father!! I can't go like this." Derrick spat out in fury, staring at me as his hands trembled, itching to slap me for sitting so badly at him.

"Shove your ego aside before she runs wild. You can choose any other powerful mate, but not her." His father advised but he shook his head.

"Never!!" He yelled and flared in anger and I chuckled.

"We need guards here. You can make yourself a useful rejected mate." I grinned at him and he punched the wall.

"I will get back to you Tahira…I swear…you're going to be mine."

"I would love to see you try, dear rejected Alpha. You should work on yourself so your next mate won't reject you. Get the fuck out of my place" I glared at him.

He fumed, eyes so visible with anger as he stormed out of the room with his parents while my father sighed disappointedly.

"You've failed me again, Tahira." He said, tipping his hands on his chin sadly as if the weight of the world was upon him.

"I know, Dad. it's my hubby," I tell him, standing up and giving him a light peck and not giving a damn about their emotions.

"I gotta run. I will bring my chosen mate once I find him… Bye, Mum." I winked at my mum whose eyes were already soaked with tears.

Too bad I'm a sucker for emotions.

They should cry blood for all I care, but the last thing they would do is force me to marry someone who isn't mine.

I'm too powerful for that.

I went out, and the sun blasted my eyes blind.

****

"Princess Tahira, it's done." One of my men came over and bowed to me, and I smiled at them nodding in approval at a good job done.

I don't like doing this but I love treating scumbags who act like goats.

Before those people came over, I already received word from my men that I would be expecting a visitor who would be meeting my parents in a bid to marry me or claim me as my mate.

I sent words to them to make sure they never try it I am rejecting them in advance but they chose to be stiff-necked and I don't let such people go easily.

" Great, dispose of their bodies. I don't want another drama of 'I am your mate' to come back and stare at me.

I said to them, and they all nodded.

"You have another suitor tomorrow. Should I take care of them, too?" One of them said and I groaned in displeasure. Gosh! These people won't just learn.

"Which pack?" I asked him

"A relative of the Red Crystal Pack."

The same pack? How many alphas are even there?

"Look, don't even let them smell the air of Red stone. Waste them."

I told him, and he bowed, fleeing from my presence.

I hissed in displeasure and walked down farther toward the woods, leaving the territory of my pack. I was lost in thought wondering when I would get someone that fits my description.

I wasn't ready to be a Luna of a dove, bowing down and smiling gibberish to the people and my so-called Alpha or speaking unnecessary items with the women, I wanted to be a Luna of steel, a warrior Luna as I fight and take off every infiltrating rogue and supernatural dangerous enemies that seem to be poking around to cause a stir.

I've lived all my life fighting, I never had a teacher except my and my father exiled all the female warriors in the Red Stone Pack to prevent me from learning from them while growing up. The male warriors were never seen around the Pack mansion as he knew that I would ask for their guidance.

In fact, a heavy punishment was going to be paid by any male warrior who was seen around me with any weapon. I was forced to be a lady and act like one a bit. I only ended up getting worse and daring myself, putting my life on the line. Facing deadly creatures for training myself and earning severe injuries at the end.

A rogue midnight wolf almost killed me once, when I went out all on my own to sneak out with the men for patrol and guard the palace.

They would never know I followed them but I find it fun, Hiding behind the bark of trees, listening to their conversations, shifting to attack any intruder, and coming back victoriously.

The sights of these things intrigue me so much but that night, I was faced with the biggest dark scary wolf of my life.

It went after my skin and bones like a hungry maniac not giving me time to shift and before I could attack, I was in a broken and bleeding mess.

That still didn't stop me even after my father ran mad and punished me for days.

I know what I want and I'm going for it.

My wolf needs to run, and it's been a long since we did that all in the name of you're going to be a bride mantra that keeps echoing in my heart from my father's lips and I ended up being restricted. I could sense her excitement as I stripped in the middle of the Woods. I couldn't rip my favorite pink gown off wolfing out.

I unzipped the gown and watched it fall down my body, taking off my underwear and crouching to the ground.

Normally, this would have been more refreshing under the full moon, but my wolf is just desperate to run.

My bones snapped and cracked, transforming into beauty and giving a loud howl and shaking my beautiful fur as I glanced around, my senses of smell and defense so sharp as I took a hilt to the run feeling the fresh forest air on my skin.

After running tirelessly for hours and feeling the refreshment of the air, I decided to transform back.

I scanned my eyes lazily for my clothes because they weren't there.

It disappeared.
