"What is it?" I asked with an uneasy feeling. The two of them were still staring at me while listening to the howling outside that sounded like calling for a long time. "Who's that?" I whispered to Balthazar.

No one answered my question.

I turned to look at the window in the kitchen, looking at the light from the lamp at the edge of the lake and into the darkness of the forest beyond. The wolf's howling had now stopped. But my heart still feels awkward, the howling voice calling ... I don't know what this is just my feelings, but the wolf seems to be calling me.
