Mable’s POV

“Baby, how many shoes do you own?” Luke asks Sable, as we are moving boxes from the van to our packhouse rooms.

“It’s not that many, geez,” Sable rolls her eyes.

“I want a reward after this,” Luke teases her.

“Soundproof room, baby, you can be rewarded all night,” Sable teases him back.

He takes the stairs with new energy.
