Mable’s POV

“Do they seem off to you?” Sable asks, as we travel to Blood Moon for the trip to Golden Moon.

“They love Liam, and they can’t stand the thought of losing him. We are, literally, going to the human realm right now to replace him. Of course, they are off,” I tell her.

“We can hear you,” Cullen tells us from the driver seat.

“Did we say something wrong, my love?” I ask, rubbing his shoulders. He still jumps at the tingles when we touch. It’s so cute.

“No, you are right about us being off,” Luke tells us. “And we are not going to Golden Moon so we can replace Liam and Claire. I want to be very clear we are guardians of the pack for Liam’s sons. Our kids will not be Alphas at Blue Mountain.”

Cullen reaches across and puts his hand on Luke’s shoulder.

“They know brother, Mable and I discussed my promise to Liam,” Cullen says, attempting to calm Luke down.

“Baby, I know you are worried, but it’s going to be okay. Liam is strong and smart,” Sable tells Luke.

“If he was smart, he
