Sable’s POV

“I’m going to check on Cullen,” I tell Luke, who is fascinated by the internet here in the human realm. I walk next door and knock.

“You should not be here right now,” Cullen tells me.

“Want me to leave?” I ask.

Cullen opens the door wider and I walk in.

“Sable, we can’t do anything. I get it until Mable and I mark each other, there is going to be a pull for you and I, but I can’t act on it,” Cullen tells me.

“They won’t feel it, because we are fated to,” I remind him, touching his face. The tingles are still there.

“I can’t share with Luke, he and I don’t share well. Mable doesn’t share well either,” Cullen takes a step back.

“But you are mine too. I know we rejected each other, but my wolf wants you too. I can hear your wolf wants me too,” I have no idea where this is coming from, but I am not afraid of him anymore. In fact, I can’t help myself and I launch at him to kiss him.

“Whoa,” He grabs my hands and keeps me at a distance. “Absolutely not, Sable. You know better.
