Enya kindly showed me around the house.

It was a big, cozy place with stunning views of the forest and a garden that seemed to be a florist's dream, as well as having a large space where many cars could be parked. I liked that it had an open concept where any member of the pack could go and order whatever they wanted.

It was very different from how things were run in the Southern Pack.

It took a little while to have people around, but Enya made everything a lot easier. With her gift of gab, she introduced me to those she could, always keeping her distance, and the most pleasant part of the process was realizing that the Alpha was right. No one looked at me with any expression of contempt; rather, everyone was curious as to how it was that I had gotten there.
