Alice

Eating had felt like a little piece of glory.

I had to admit that after weeks of torture eating only small portions of stale, hard bread, anything could be heaven, but this breakfast I was eating was too tasty. It had a unique taste, one that reminded me a little of how my father used to cook for me before the war.

A sadness immediately washed over me at the memory.

At that moment, Enya came into the room with some clean sheets, and seeing that I was eating, she smiled eagerly, as if watching me eat was the best of pleasures.

"If you want more, just ask; I made enough and have it stored in the kitchen. Many times some of the apprentice wolves come in looking for what to eat, and I always have something to serve them," she commented matter-of-factly, and she set the sheets aside before opening the closet to arrange them as well as to assess the clothes in there. "I don't know what outfit might fit you, but this might be of use to you." She pulled out a very pretty green dress. "T
