Even though the news about Theo wanting a divorce had caused such chaos in the living room when Ava stepped into the room, it grew quiet, and everyone was staring at her with worried gazes.

“What? Do I have something on my face?” Ava snapped, looking from face to face in irritation.

“You have a guest,” Justin said.

“Who?”

“He’s at the doorway,”

The dead silence after those words left Ava confused, but mostly she was irritated, and then she turned around and stormed out of the living room.

When she got to the front door and saw lawyer Darren standing outside with the folders in his hand waiting for her, Ava narrowed her eyes at him before asking, “Are you the one waiting on me?”

“Yes, Mrs. Ava Taylor Briggs. Your husband Theo Briggs had filed for a divorce and these are the papers. With your current reputation in the public eye, I will advise you to sign the papers and not make an issue of it...
