Chapter 39

"Okay, I'll call you later," the mayor said into the phone as he placed his hand on the door handle of his house and pushed it back.

He turned on the switch and the lights came on. As he turned, he saw Samuel sitting on the nain chair, leg crossed. "Been a long time, mayor," Samuel said with his eyes fixed on the center table.

The mayor trembled backwards and froze. "What the fuck are you doing in my house? I don't remember inviting you." The mayor tried to put him in order and hide his fright. "As far as I remember you're supposed to be two thousand meters away from me."

"That was how it was supposed to be if you stayed off anything that concerns me but unfortunately, you did not," Samuel drew his chair closer to the center table.

"What the fuck are you talking about? You're not welcomed here, please leave."

Samuel stood up and walked towards the mayor, grinning. "What kind of man does not check on his family when he gets back home from work."
