Chapter 40

After a long and arduous walk alone in the forest, Lorraine arrives at the cave where she is to meet the Three Ancient Ghosts.

According to Ellie the cave was not something hard to find. It was distinctive from the other rocks. She told Lorraine not to worry that there was something about the cave that'd draw her to it.

Now Lorraine could see it and she began to wonder how the inside of the cave would be like if it was like this from the outside.

Lorraine had been walking for what seemed like an eternity. Her legs ached and her throat was parched, but she was here, finally.

Ellie told James not to accompany her because this was her fight and hers alone.

There was an eerie feeling that embraced her as she got closer to the place.

She was about to step in when she remembered the spell Ellie had taught her and had told her to say before stepping into the cave.

She recited the spell, word by word making sure she made no mistakes in the recitation.

Immediately she said the last word lamps
