A surge of fear coursed through Lorraine as she listened closely to hear what Ellie would say afterward. Ellie motioned for her to walk down to a place where the whole council would see her.

As if she was just noticing her face for the first time, Queen Elara pressed back into her chair.

"Here with me, my queen is Lorraine, the daughter of one of our kind, and destiny has chosen her to fulfill the prophecy."

"Be clear with your words, Ellie." One of the council members remarked.

"Lorraine here is the daughter of Annabella," she paused, "My sister, who was also your sister, my queen."
