Chapter 56

Lorraine raised her leg to take a step but when she heard what Herla had said, she paused, leaving the the leg hanging in the air, and her body froze.

"My mother's room?" Lorraine exclaimed, surprised.

"Yes, this is Annabella's room. She loved it."

"You know my mother?" Lorraine asked finally getting back control of herself. She wondered why she froze every single time she hears her mother's name.

Herla floated around, making some odd screeching sounds, "Yes. Your mother was my friend. It was sad to hear of her demise."

Suddenly a gown came floating down from up, Lorraine raised her hands up and the gown made its way into her. She combed her hair and sat before the mirror to look at herself.

Her mind flashed back to James and she smiled at the thoughts of him. She wondered what he might be doing at the moment.
