Drowning

It has been three days since I last saw Gideon. He doesn't join us for breakfast in the morning, that leaves Samantha and I to dine together. I asked Samantha about Beta Leo and Gideon's whereabouts and she said that he has been dealing with an issue about rogues attacking some villages in the kingdom and kidnapping female Lycans.

I still remember I had heard about that kidnapping thing from my previous Pack so females were advised not to stray away from the woods.

I didn't know the Lycans were still facing the same issue.

I didn't press on the matter because I didn't have any help to offer.

Everyday after breakfast, I would go back to the house and spend the whole day in the room doing absolutely nothing.

I was used to work so all this idleness was taking a toil on me.

Tired of lazing around, I walked to the royal kitchen.

The servants who saw me cast me surprised looks while others tried not to hide their disdain for me.
