Embarrassed

Maya POV

Looking at the door, my eyes locked with Gideon's angry ones. His face was so dark that I took a step back, stumbled and almost fell if it wasn't for the blonde guy who steadied me.

" Are you okay?" Although his voice was filmed with concern, all I could feel radiating through my body at that moment was dread.

I didn't get to answer the guy before the all familiar Scent hit my nostrils before I crashed into a warm and hard chest.

Gideon snaked his hands around by waist. His touch was gentle, like my waist was a fragile glass that could break anytime he exerted some strength on it.

I could feel his anger and annoyance seeping through his nerves as he glared at the blonde haired guy who was looking between me and Gideon with suspicion filled eyes.

" Thank you for keeping her company while I was not around. Now that I am here, you can be on your way." Gideon spat. I could feel that he was trying to restrain himself but why, that's something I didn't know.

" Why do I have to leav
