Chapter 128

On my way back, I felt extremely happy. I felt happy because Adriana proved to me that not everything can and should be solved with violence and seeing the results made me love her the more.

“Garagan,” I called.

“Yes alpha.” He replied.

“Go assemble every single wolf in the pack to the fields and when you're done with that, bring some wolves with you to get the guillotine.” I said.

“Alpha are you…” he said in surprise.

“Exactly,” I replied with a smile. “He will lose his life today. I'm tired of him.” I replied.

“Of course alpha.” He replied before walking away.

As he walked away, I led him to the said field and waited for everyone under the moonlight.

An hour later, every single wolf in my pack gathered before me with Lane who at this point was no longer an alpha bound by chains laced with wolfsbane and dumped by the side.

A couple of minutes later, Garagan arrived alongside some other wolves with pieces of the guillotine which he began assembling.

very disappointed in the end. Lane should have died. It's like after the Decent Alpha got stabbed it became a whole different book. too many character screw ups.

How could Tristan say he didn't think Lane would betray him like that, the guy literally was stalking and plotting to kidnap Adriana from the moment he was introduced. How the hell did Adriana and Tristan end up happy together when she hated his guts???
