CHAPTER THIRTY EIGHT

I walked out of the dormitories and went behind the building, my steps quickening. I could have sworn I heard a very familiar bark just now.

I was cleaning up my side of the room while ignoring the noise my roommate was making, she finally appears and she disturbs me.

I was by the window when his bark reached me, over and over again. It must have been very loud to be able to reach where I was.

My gaze went around over and over again, searching for what I hoped was the reason behind that bark

I heard a whimper and my gaze zeroed on the part far to my left. I rushed in a direction. It wasn't till I got closer before I saw what had happened. I gasped.

Forest sat on the outskirts of the forest, looking very dirty and whimpering where he stood. He took a step back as he saw me approaching, before turning around and running deeper into the forest.

I ran after him, worried out of my mind with his odd behaviour. I hadn't seen him in about a week and I had been so busy with the fighting realm
