CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN

We formed a long line. I stood at the forefront with Emily right behind me, and then the rest of the class followed. We managed to keep several inches between ourselves right until the last person.

I looked at Jonathan, indicating that we were ready. He said nothing, just stared at us point blank.

Okay then.

One of the other commanders did us the honour of timing us, and off we went.

I started immediately and Emily followed, one after the other until the whole class had formed a long line.

I heard snickers and laughter from the other students that were watching us. We looked very ridiculous and we knew it.

"What do you mean to protect the foreman?" Asked Emmanuel when I had told them my plan earlier.

"I have never heard that before," said Mitchel thoughtfully.

"Yes. It's a baseless theory figured out one time, but I think it's a solid idea and what time to test it if not now?" I shrugged..

"Okay. Say it one more time. Maybe it won't sound as ridiculous the second time" said Bryan.
