From The Mirror

Rose felt her knees weaken as though she had been struck by a bolt. She couldn’t believe what she sees, finding her own sister, Josie in the mirror as though she could travel between dimensions. But she knew she hadn’t traveled, this was a vison…

Out of curiosity, Rose touched the mirror, wondering if she could enter only to feel the cold hard surface. It was still a mirror but a mirror that is able to show her vision as she wished.

Josie, on the other hand, appeared to be covering herself with a cloak as she had entered a hidden space. She looked nervous, constantly looking behind her as she made her way into a dark room.

“Josie?” Rose whispered yet her sister couldn’t see or hear her. Somehow seeing Josie alone as she walked down the pitch black space made her felt worried. Why was she alone? Why didn’t she stay in the castle?

Masterful transition between locations and story lines. Poor Rose and worry for Josie, though only because she is Rose’s sister.
