Chapter 20: Dinner
How long are we walking now? 20 minutes? 30 minutes? Why does the diners feels so faraway right now? It feels like my legs are slowly giving out and those three keep on whispering behind my back. Like literally talking behind my back.
But, I was the one who agreed to have a dinner with them, so who am I to complain now?
Finally! I could see the facade of the diners from where I am. Just a little bit more.
"Austin? You're with… friends?" Sarah said as soon as we enter Feel at Home.
Sarah had this strange expression on her face. Her eyebrows keep on making weird movements as she looks at me and her lips were little pursed. She knows I’m not a friendly type who would bring ‘friends’ into my workplace for a late dinner. So, this is really a news to her and everybody in the diners.
She's eyeing the three behind my back quietly arguing. I can still hear them whispering to each other. I wonder what they are

“What is it? Just… tell me… right now.” Grey pants, after running as fast as he can right when he heard from Justin that Shaun wants to see him.
