Chapter 52: No

Her scream pierced the air and I held my hands over my ears tightly, clenching my fingers around them to try and drown out the screams but it didn’t help.

My eyes were scrunched shut tightly to look away from the sight in front of me when someone grabs my hair by the scalp causing me to gasp as the pain shoots through me causing tears to form in my eyes.

I’m thrown onto the ground causing me to grunt “I didn’t do it” I yelled in a pleading tone as I slowly opened my eyes to see my uncle Casey above me covered in blood “please” I begged.

He shakes his head and I hear a sigh as I pull my hands down, looking towards it I see my father he looked almost disappointed as he looked at the woman on the ground.

“Why does anyone care about the bitch anyway” I heard my mother scream almost in a sobbing tone, like us caring for anyone else was the end of the world, a mistake for us to make and clearly it was.

“Calm down Circe” my uncle hissed glaring at her and my father looked back and forth
