Thunder rattled the windows of the dining hall. Bad weather was the norm in Brookburgh it wasn't anything to get too excited about or something that could ruin plans.
I sat at our normal table with Alex and Gina as I nursed a bowl of corn flakes. "So my mother called me last night and it was a whole argument about how I needed to be there to support my sister in her future endeavors. They've all lost it I tell you." Gina slammed her issue of glamour magazine on the table.
Alex looked at Gina as if she was listening intently to her family problems but I knew Alex's mind was on a different Astro plane, she was thinking about tonight.
