Kian's POV

By the time I concluded the meeting with Alpha Matthew, it was almost dusk. The sky looked almost golden, yet dim. A flock of birds formed the letter V, as they flew past the clouds to their nests. At the far East, the moon had began to peek it's bright, beautiful face from beneath the golden orange clouds. The view was serenely beautiful, almost magical. It reminded me of Lessia.

Noticing the gradual changes in the atmosphere, I knew it was getting late, and I needed to get back before total night fall. I stood up after finishing my glass of wine. I smiled at Alpha Matthew and extended my hand for a handshake. He declined this gesture, looking at me rather suspiciously, without saying a word.

"I would like to be on my way now, sir". I said calmly.
