Before Jessica knew what hit her, she got swept up and was carried away by the most beautiful female she has ever laid eyes on. “I will bite and kill you if you don’t let me go!” Jessica warned the female vampire.

“Please don’t. I am fighting for the good side, your side,” she said and hoped that the princess will believe her.

“What about my friends?!” Jessica yelled, the speed the female vampire was going on making the wind carry her voice away.

“I am Emily,” the dark head, blue-eyed vampire introduced herself, putting Jessica down. “Former fated and claimed mate of Prince Deacon.”

“Former?” Jessica questioned.

“We will wait out the day that is about to break here,” Emily said, and pulled the curtains.

“As far as I know, the midnight sun here in Alaska has no effect on vampires,” Jessica said, walking over to the door.

“We are not in Alaska anymore.” Emily blocked her path to the door.

“Where are we?” Jessica demanded to know.

“Canada, where the sun does actually kill vampires like
