“You get some rest, princess,” Emily said and handed Jessica a blanket.

“You owe me a story. I want to know how you met Deacon and how the hell did you end up a vampire, and why did he tell me not to trust you?"

“Get comfortable because it is going to be a long story,” Emily chuckled, and sat on a sofa across from Jessica.

Emily was about to start her story when she noticed Jessica was fast asleep.

“Poor thing,” Emily said out loud and covered Jessica with the blanket, thinking, ‘I am just glad everyone is ok and it is all over, for now.’ But mostly she was happy that the man she loved had a forever mate again.
