VIOLETTE.

Something was definitely wrong with Noah. It happened right after we went back after meeting Blaze.

Noah seemed absentminded while he was with me. He tried to avert his gaze from meeting mine when he was with me. His touch became a rare occurrence; even his presence became harder to see. We were fine. I was sure of it. We didn’t fight, but now it was like we had one.

“Is he tired of me?”

Shaking my head, I threw the thought off my head. Rather than guessing and kept coming up with unpleasant scenarios, it was better to confront him directly for my peace of mind.

I stood before the mirror, braiding my hair and rolling it neatly. I observed my skin, looking for the sign of ugly green on my pale skin, then sighed when I found none.

Turning my head to the window, I noticed how high the sun was. Good, Noah was probably still in the training ground. I had to catch him there. If not, I had to wait until the sun rested again.
