OLIVIA.

After leaving Godivia’s quarter, I spent my time alone in my room. Facing the vast view of the soil covered with snow helped me calm. My heart still beat painfully, but it became bearable.

Godivia’s words rang in my ears. I didn’t care about the part she said she could take my position. I was saddened because Nash had broken my trust again. I wanted to ignore’s Godivia’s last warning, but I couldn’t.

I wasn’t ready to let him have a pup from another she-wolf. Walking toward my closet, I took my thin chemise that covered almost nothing, put it on my body then painted my face to make it fresh.

When I was done, the sun had already rested. The moon was so high in the sky that the light escaped from my window and fell on me. Under the moonlight with only a layer of clothes, I felt pretty, yet cheap at the same time.

“This is your last attempt, Oliv. Let’s give up if everything turns against you,” I told myself.
