Chapter 18 - As Thanks
It was pure silence on our way home. Ezra didn't speak about anything like how he usually does. I do enjoy peace and quiet, but not this again. I'm anxious that he might be thinking something wrong about me.
I'm aware that he's not that type of a person, but maybe he hated how I snuck my nose into his business. I can't stop overthinking, and this is the problem with me.
We're not even close for me to do something like that. Though it doesn't matter if Ezra hates me, I'm all good as long as he wouldn't bother me anymore.
The darkness and the cold wind didn't help as it just made everything more awkward. Or was that just me?
