Kim helped me get in the van and even gave me a towel to wipe my sweat. “Was everything alright? Your face is flushed.” She asked as she looked at the rear-view mirror to observe my face.
I smiled and shook both of my hands. “It was just hot outside.” Kim didn’t bother asking anymore, though I don’t know my face is flushed too. It’s great that Kim’s the type to not pry on things that I don’t want to talk about much.
