To the left of the dance floor, I replied. I was running around putting last minute touches on things before the party started in three hours. My friends were all helping me out. In an hour or so, I would head back to the Alpha House and get dressed.
The celebration came at a good time. The Pack was excited, and that excitement was contagious. Normally I would dread any sort of gathering where I would have to participate in any way, but I was actually looking forward to this.
I felt a little flutter in my belly, and I looked down and smiled. In the past week, I had grown a tiny little bulge in my lower belly. “Once they start growing, you’re going to get big, fast,” Joanna had warned about my babies. My mom was delighted with my baby bump. She tended to get a silly look on her face whenever she saw me.
