85: Ansel's POV
The next guard shift arrives a few minutes late, the explain that Alpha Maxwell was speaking to them about the upcoming storm, so I let it slide that they were late. I slowly walk down the steps of the wall, and make my way across the grounds to find Annie.
I find her in the middle of helping a mother move her 4 children into the castle. They had been staying in one of the large family tent's, we had been trying to move all of the families inside, but it was a slow proccess.

I spend all day running around helping the pack get ready for this storm. We move everyone into the dorms we have set up. We move all of the tents and the loose items into the castle as well. I tie down all the bigger item's that we can't take in to the castle, I tie them to the cars, or to the tree's, or to the pillers arround the buildings near the castle. I take Greyson back down to the dining hall, to check the schedule, if I am remembering right his father, Nolan, is on patrol right now. Whenever his father is on guard duty or patrol his mother, Janet, spends most of her time helping out in the kitchen. We join the pack as they file into the dining hall, we take our seats and wait while Miss Frankie and her staff finish setting up the buffet dinner. I greet the pack members as they pass us. I wake up to a soft knocking at the door. I am wrapped up in Ansel's arms, covered in blankets, I feel warm and safe, this shiney after glow moment would be perfect if there was not someone knocking on the door begging for my attention. We spend the day in the smallest of the castle's ball rooms with the children, making paper flowers, butterflies, and snowflake's to cover the walls. The smaller children simply scribble on paper with random colors, insisting that their art work also be taped up onto the walls. We serve them lunch in this room, finger sandwiches cut in the shapes of hearts, stars, and circle's, which I imagine must be the only cookie cutters the right size that Miss Frankie could find. We also have chips, cut fruit, and carrot sticks. After lunch I teach the children how to make beads out of colored paper. Then we string them onto necklace's. The older children help me make a very very long paper chain, we hang it all across the room, from the walls, the chandelier's, and the candle brackets near the doors. I race through the hall ways, fighting to keep from shifting. I have never this emotional as a werewolf, I was always just a human, now I am fighting for control of my own body.
