35. YOU ARE A GOOD PERSON

"I am worried about you, Ben," Emery said when the car slowed down at a traffic sign.

"Why?" He looked at her, hoping she hadn't figured out that he was sick.

"You do all these things," she said tiredly. "I am truly worried." She heaved a sigh and relaxed her back on the seat. "Take me around, do everything for me, and manage to fill in at work while I do nothing at all. I am worried."

He chuckled, relieved she wasn't thinking about his illness at all. "I own the company, I can decide not to go for days. You don't have to worry about me, and who else would drive you around if I don't?" He asked her.

"You have a chauffeur, he can do the job." She rubbed her neck.

"I prefer to drive you myself, I want you to be under my watch when you are out there." He kicked the car and zoomed off when the traffic sign was clear.

Emery felt special, she smiled, staring at him as he focused on the road.

"Are you sick?" She suddenly asked.

He slowed down again and glared at her. "Do I look sick?"
