“Why didn’t you tell me anything?” Susan wanted to know. “Why, Ace? I always trusted you.”

Hearing through the call the need she had to see him, Ace accepted that meetup at the café where they used to go before. Then, he was going to prepare everything before his flight with the woman if his life and the little son that even if he wasn’t biologically theirs, Ace and Cameron learned to love him as he was.

Ace smiled mockingly. He really didn’t care about what Susan could be thinking of him, or even feeling. But, what he didn’t know was that Susan could act on him whenever she wanted, and maybe at that moment Susan was giving him his last chance to do things right.

“What? What is so funny for you? Tell me because I don’t understand!”

“Susan, if we can’t talk like two civilized people do, I think we leave this as it is.” Ace tried to get up, but Susan was faster to take his hands and make him seat down.

“Hold on! You won’t go to anywhere until you answer me what I’m asking you.”
