CHAPTER 62

Running behind him for more than five streets, Edmund finally got Diego. The man was acting without thinking. All those things going on in his life were driving him wild. When Cameron had said she was going to become his karma, she wasn’t just talking.

“Hold on… Diego… Hold on!” Edmund stopped him. His chest going up and down showed how much he’d run.

“I can’t let this happen.”

“You’re acting wild. You don’t know what’s wrong and what’s right now. You just see what you want to see. Diego, you’re not the hero of the story. Don’t pretend who you can’t be when you don’t even know what to do with your own problems.”

“Thank you, Edmund.”
