Bastian didn’t understand what the woman was saying, or maybe, he didn’t want to understand what was clearer than water raining in autumn.

Camilla was evil. What made him think that she was going to help him get the hell out of here? Camilla had been clear enough when she said Bastian was no longer in her interests. She had put the eye on another man. Someone who was more interesting, more powerful or of course, more handsome. For Camilla, all those years, Bastian was her happy moment after having fought with Diego. He was her little break, her better than nothing, but eventually, even that little break he was for her ends up bothering more than the fights she could have with Diego.

“Maybe that you’ll stay here for some years if you still want to have power when you come out of here.”
