I walked the streets looking for a bar to drown my sorrows; maybe that way Kat's betrayal would hurt less. I wanted to erase her from my mind, forget what I felt. I entered the first bar I saw and went to the counter. I sat there and ordered a drink, downing it as soon as it was handed to me, so I ordered another one.

"There are only two types of people who drink like that, those who have lost a family member or those whose hearts have been broken," a female voice told me.

I looked up, and it was a girl tending the bar.

"The second one," I replied.

She gave me another one, and I drank it in one gulp again.

"It's not worth it; you'll feel worse tomorrow," she said.

"But since my job is to sell alcohol," she continued and filled my glass with more alcohol.

I chuckled at her comment.

"I bet a lot of people with broken hearts come to this place," I told her.

She nodded.

"That's why I love Valentine's Day," she said.

I laughed a little more and looked at her more closely. She had brightly
