Facing Her Fear

From her talk to her father, she found out that her mother was sent to a special house in Ireland. According to her father, that was her mother’s request. Apparently, her mother had been cleared at the asylum where she was first sent. However, her mother refused to return to her previous life, thus, they came out of the agreement for her to stay in another hospital where she would be supervised twenty-four-seven.

Lina scoffed inwardly, remembering her phone conversation with her father. He hurried like usual, as though he was in the middle of an important matter and he had to cut the call short. In the past, Lina would come up with the excuse to end the call to avoid the awkwardness and the coldness of her father. But that was before.
