Back in the training yard, Ken was giving me a squinted look, as though he was indirectly letting me know he was on to me and my little game of hide and seek with the ball and the picnic. I offered him an innocent smile but returned my attention to Marrok and Lupe.

“Now,” I said as I glanced between the two. “You’ll both need to have a better handle on transforming than the younger ones, though from what I saw when the whole pack transformed last, it wasn’t too much of an issue for you both, right?” I asked with a smile.
