Chapter 1

I got up very early, I had to fix everything to leave, the truth was I felt sad since, I was going to leave my parents and my friends here and leave the city where I grew up, but this is what I want, of course not to leave. to my parents, but this is a great opportunity that I was waiting for, they finally accepted me in the university where I want to study, there is something far away but everything is for my future, my parents support me one hundred percent and it relieves me since I don't have to leave without your consent.

"Friend, are you really going to go?" "Says my friend Clara, who was sitting on my bed."

"Yes friend, this is my chance," I answer as I walk from one place to another in my room packing my bags. "This is my dream and I want to fulfill it, I don't want to remain as a mother, depending on a man for life because he never finished his studies, I want to be independent.

"But why don't you study at the university here? All of our friends are going to study there, even me, I really don't want you to go," Clara says to me with a pout.

—I would like to, but here they don't give the degree I want to study, plus we've already talked about this enough and you always tell me the same thing and I keep giving you the same answer.

—Yes, but it's worth trying, you're my best friend, I still remember when I met you at school, I was new and you were the only one who was kind to me from the beginning.

"If I remember that day too, when those girls were teasing you."

Past

Clara had come to school new, because she had just moved to the city, she was lost looking for the classroom where she had to watch mathematics, Amy was going crazy running through the corridors, because she was late, when suddenly she collided with someone, she was She got up in pain from the blow.

"Sorry I didn't see you," Amy says to Clara, extending her hand since the girl was still on the ground and helped her up, "I'm Amy."

"Don't worry Amy, I'm Clara," Clara replied with a smile.

Amy was about to go on her way when Clara stopped her.

"Wait, can you tell me where the math room is? It's just that I'm new and I don't know where it is." Clara says joining her hands in supplication.

—Ah you're new, no wonder your face made me familiar, come with me, I'll go to the art room and it's just near the math room. Amy replies kindly.

They walked down the long corridor together, chatting until they reached the math room.

"This is the math room, the art room is the one over there," Amy says and pointed to the room at the end of the hall, "well see you, I'm late."

Amy said goodbye to Clara and hurried off to her living room; It was time for the subject change, Amy was playing Spanish and she went to another classroom, entered and sat in her place to wait for the teacher, she put on her headphones to listen to music and leaned back on her desk, she was calm when she left. Suddenly she saw that some girls were bothering someone, when she observed that she got up angrily and went to where the young women were since, she hated bullying, when she got closer she realized that the girl they were bothering was Clara, right away he stepped between them and stopped them.

"What's wrong with them?" Why are they bothering her? Amy said to the girls.

"Oh, the ombudsman has arrived," one of the girls said, mocking Amy. "Get away, Amy, this is not with you."

"Are you serious Kristal?" Don't you have smarter words to say? Amy replied with a laugh.

"Better get out of here before ..."

-Before? Amy interrupted her, "please Kristal, you know very well that I'm not afraid of you, besides," she added, "you believe a great thing and the only thing you have in your brain are flies, there is no true," he brought his hands up to his Mouth in the form of surprise - you have no brain - Amy said laughing - you better go and I don't want you to mess with Clara again.

Clara was surprised by what she was seeing, this girl had value, moreover, she was surprised because she was defending her, they weren't even friends, they had barely seen each other in the morning.

"Oh no Kristal, let's go, let's not waste time with these losers," said one of the girls to the girl, "they are not worth our time."

The girls left and left Amy and Clara there, the girls entered the room and sat down, immediately the teacher arrived and class began.

"You were told that you played Spanish after math and I passed you looking, so you didn't have this bad time," Amy said to Clara in a whisper so that the teacher wouldn't hear them.

"Don't worry, I was also sorry that you were taking me to each room." Clara replies sadly.

"It's nothing, besides, you're new and you don't know the place," Amy replies and is thoughtful for a moment. "I want to ask you something." He says to Clara.

-Yes of course. Tell me.

- Why didn't you defend yourself from those girls?

"Ah, I just ..." Clara said, lowering her sad face, "I'm used to it."

-What?! Is seriously?! - Amy said to him surprised - are you stupid or what? You have to defend yourself, you cannot let other people treat you as inferior.

—I never had the courage to do it, in my other school they did the same to me and I got used to being treated badly all the time.

"No, no, no and no, you can't let others treat you badly, besides, I'm going to have to give you some classes," Amy said with a smile, "so you can learn to defend yourself."

- Why do you want to help me if you hardly know me? Clara asks somewhat confused.

—I like you, and I also can't stand it when people let themselves be trampled on by others, it's not good, that creates depression in people and leads them to make bad decisions.

"Thank you," Clara said with a smile.

—There's no reason, now we're going to be friends, if you want.

"Sure, I've never had a friend," Clara told him with a smile.

"Well, now you have it," Amy replied and hugged her.

From that day on Clara and Amy were great friends until they became best friends, they helped each other and Amy helped Clara not to bully her anymore.

Present

I finished packing my bags, I leave the house to put them in the car that is waiting outside, when I turn around there were my parents and my best friend almost crying.

"We're going to miss you, daughter," Mom says, hugging me, "you have to take good care of yourself, eat well, and avoid bad friendships."

"Yes mom, I'll follow your advice, every day I'm going to call you to tell you how my day was and so you know how I'm doing." I hugged her tightly and separated from her.

"Honey, you know that I support you in everything," says Dad, approaching me, "I hope you can find happiness and make us feel proud."

"Thanks dad" I nodded and hugged him "I promise it will be like that."

"Friend, I don't want you to go," Clara tells me, approaching me about to shed tears. "You are my best friend, well you are more than that, you are like the sister I never had, you always supported me in everything and defended me."

"I'm also going to miss you friend and, I also consider you my sister, but quiet from time to time I'll come to visit, plus I'll write and call you every day" I give her a smile and a big hug.

I got into the taxi that was going to take me to the terminal to take a bus, I stared out the window while I watched as I was getting away from my friend and my parents; I arrived at the terminal and took the bus that would take me to the destination city.

In a few hours I arrived at my new home, a building where only students lived, I stayed in a small apartment, later I could look for a roommate so that I would not be alone. I settled into one of the rooms and began to organize my things, I wanted to give my personal touch to the room so that I could feel at home, when I finished I took a look at the place and was satisfied with the result, already exhausted I went to taking a shower, I put on my pajamas and flopped on the bed exhausted and it wasn't long before I fell asleep.
