Ch. 72

I was in its mind, lost in its darkness. I don't know how to get out and I can't even feel or hear Heli in me. I'm alone in the darkness, depression slowly started to crawl over me. I'm all alone in this darkness. There's no one here with me, no one to save me.

I curled up into a ball, hugging my legs close to my chest as I began to uncontrollably sob. I can't describe the sadness I feel right now. I can only say it's just as bad, if not worse, than the day my father and brother died. This darkness had rendered me useless and depressed in less than a minute. I knew, in the back of my mind, that this ancient one's human side lay somewhere here, dormant, probably curled into a ball weeping like I am.
