The way her eyes widened in fear, almost as if she had been expecting me to ask her to do something for me, was one that wouldn’t leave my memory in a hurry. I mean, it was not like I was going to ask her to give me back her life which I saved, but she was making it look like that was exactly what I would be asking her to do. And why was that? Simply because she thought that I was another Damon in disguise sent to torment her and her soul forever.
