Gone from the house.

Damon's POV

I didn't need to think twice about the idea of getting her a phone. It was the most plausible way to get her to be able to get in touch with me whenever she wanted to. But first, I needed to make sure she was going to be okay while I was out to get the phone for her. I ignored the work I was doing and went to see her at the library. She was still there, deeply focused on the book she was reading that she didn't even notice that I was in the room with her. I cleared my throat to get her attention. The moment she looked up and saw that I was the one, she got up from where she sat and winced immediately.

"Ouch!" She groaned, holding her side of the stomach.

I rushed over to her. "Are you okay?" I asked her.

She got away from my hold and stepped back, putting a considerable distance between us. I closed my hands which were still extended when I tried to help her.

"I-I am sorry, Master. I didn't mean to make you run like th-that." She stammered to me.
