Bustling Reverie

The bustle of the town was exciting to Elsa. She cheered as they entered with their horses. Wandering her eyes, she caught hold of those who were busy with ordinary things. Eh! How much she wished to wander with folks!

“We will walk from here,” she heard Gabriel and saw him jump off the horse. Before she followed suit, Gabriel came to her horse.

“I can,” Elsa muttered, knowing Gabriel came to help her, which was less needed.

“Still, I want to, darling,” Gabriel teased with a smile while his hand made its way to hold her waist and helped her to get down.

“I assume we are on a mission. Aren't we?” Elsa whispered when the man didn't let his hand move from her waist and looked at her with a sly gaze.

“Maybe,” Gabriel said and kissed the tip of her small nose before resuming, “Let's take a stroll as a citizen.”
