“I wouldn't dare, milord. My family lives in this stall and my stall is also the oldest one in this town. How could this poor servant upset or harm my winsome patrons?”

“Pleased to hear, otherwise there will be no family tomorrow,” Gabriel spoke with twisted words as the threat was clear. He was certain about the man’s fearful thoughts and knew the food was safe. Still, humans are greedy and only the threat worked in them.

Elsa, besides Gabriel, stood silent with pity toward the vendor who had done nothing but still received a threat. If he knew who the man was under this disguise probably he might conk out in fear.

“Sir, I'd love to taste the dumplings,” said Elsa with a polite tone, just as she was who believed in parity.

“Yes, milady,” the vendor said with a nod, also hiding his eyes from the man who did terrify him with his words. The pressure he was holding up felt heavy around his stall and made it hard to overlook the hooded figure. He gulped as he wiped his both hands
