Chapter 21

When Caleb couldn’t find Ember at the hospital, he drove directly toward Saint Lucia Convent.

However, when he reached the gate, he was stopped by the security guards.

Due to what had happened earlier, Ember had increased security for the children’s safety. No one could simply walk into the girls’ school.

“I’m here to see Ember,” Caleb said coolly.

“Then please give call Ms. Ember first. Without her permission, we can’t let you in.” The security guard said honestly.

He suppressed the anger in his heart and called Ember.

“Tell security to let me through.”

“Mr. Lane, have you received the divorce papers? If you’re not here with the copy, I don’t think we need to meet each other again,” Ember’s tone was relaxed with a hint of indifference.

Caleb wanted to say something else, but she had already hung up. His hand balled into a fist, and he punched the guard house’s wall.

The security guards looked at him in alert with their tonfa in hand, preparing to move at a moment’s notice.
