CHAPTER TWENTY ONE
Twenty days! To our wedding! I'll get a lot of opportunities to get to know him. He could spend these days attending meetings and conferences etcetera etcetera. I do not know.
I'll be back in London and he'll absorb himself in his business. So I'm not seeing him anymore. He's bound to the wedding, because of business. I'm bound to save my father and hundreds of workers' livelihood.
The thought of leaving this place makes me feel uneasy. I shouldn't be. This house is haunted. I'm having nightmares with open eyes.
I glance at the clock. It's dinner time.
I lift my hand to rap on the door of his office. I pushed it to open when I saw it was already cracked open.
