CHAPTER TWENTY THREE

                                      I lay on the couch. It's noon. I have an entire day ahead of me. I haven't seen anything gruesome after leaving his house. I believe it's all related to his haunted house. 

     I wanna go and confront my father. Lisa is right, I shouldn't do anything in anger and frustration. 

     I close my eyes. Instead of dark, I find myself in Luce's room. I try to move, get up from the bed. My body feels like glue to bed. Dread grips me. I try to lift my hand. I feel helpless. Tears prickle in my eyes, but it feels dry to me. 

      A figure walks toward me. I hold my breath though, I'm not able to do anything. It is only my eyes that can move. I focus my eyes on his face. My eyes would have bulged out if I could have moved. 

     Louis walks
