Toppling The Wheel

"Who came to see you?", Leo asked with his brows raised.

"Miss Lee, Miss Turner's friend I believe", Edgar replied nonchalantly

"Oh? And what did she want?", he asked relaxing on his chair.

"She wanted you."

"What?!", Leo nearly choked on his saliva.

"Oh?", Edgar raised his eyes to him

"I didn't mean it that way. She came asking about you."

"Asking about me?"

"Yeah. She wanted to know your information."

Leo thought about it for a while before he slowly asked in a low voice,

"Well.... was she asking for herself or did she say someone sent her?"

Edgar eyed his friend for a long time. Looks like Leo's feelings for Cassie ran deep. He clearly wanted to know if she was looking for him. Could this actually be a good thing?

"She said she was there for a friend." Leo's eyes sparked

"But I don't exactly think Miss Turner actually sent her, if that's what you wanted to know"

Leo raised his eyes.
