CHAPTER FORTY FIVE.

“Can we at least talk?” Ethan suggested after he was done with breakfast and went over to his wife who was busy with work in her own study.

With her glass sitting impeccably on the tip of her nose, Louisa dropped the fountain pen she was using and turned her attention to him without saying anything for a while.

Her mind drifted off to when she got married to him and got pregnant with Nathan, he was hardly around and she practically had to raise her son herself and even thirty years later, he was also hardly around for his blind son. The thought of it made her blood boil.

“I am busy Ethan, the exhibition is next week and I don’t have time to chit chat with you right now, aren’t you supposed to get ready though? Won’t you be leaving, like you always do?”
