SURPRISE.

After Meri had come to realization that her only daughter, Lala, was immensely in love with this man, the only thing she focused on was bringing out the truth about those people to light so that Lala could know that kind of creatures she was getting herself attached to.

She knew they were not humans since she had seen it with her very own eyes. The thought of the man who brought that parcel never left her mind. She wished she could tell Lala about it but she also knew she'd ask for some proof of which she didn't have at the moment.

She wanted to gather proof before she could tell Lala anything. Maybe she would be able to believe her thereafter.

But how would she get proof? She hoped luck would be on her side!

"Lala. Ahhh... I need you to help me with something."

"Tell me mother."

"I just want you to make a phone call to Derrick. Tell him you want to pay him a visit tomorrow."she said with a slight smile.

"Is this all you want me to do for you?"Lala asked.

"Yes dear."

"Wow! This means mother has finally agreed to this proposal. Yes!!"Lala was so happy. She couldn't stop rejoicing. It felt like she had just received the news about the alliance... It was like her mother had just fixed the date for their wedding little did she know that Meri was planning something else in pretence.

Meanwhile in the palace, when Derrick received the call and got to know that Lala was coming over the next day, no one in the palace got time to rest a little bit because they were doing everything they could to make the whole palace look like heaven.

They wanted to surprise Lala in an amazing way. Since they didn't want anything to go wrong that day, they cleaned up the whole place, setting everything that looked like evidence that they were vampires, on fire as they didn't Lala to back off in case she got to know about their true identify.

Elsewhere Meri wasn't settled either. She was praying she could land on something that would prove that really everyone related to the Gaberaz was nothing else but a vampire.

Would luck favor her or not? She hoped God could answer her prayers immediately.

"Where are the two of you going?"

"We aren't going anywhere."Meri lied when Edward happened to step in her plan.

She had invested her precious time to come up with this brilliant idea...so, turning her down was something she didn't wish to see it happen.

She would die!

"I can read and tell that the two of you are hiding something from me."Lala's dad insisted.

"What makes you think that way. Of course we aren't planning anything."Meri lied again which left Lala wondering why her mother was acting this way.

Sensing something fishy Lala thought of telling her dad the truth. Maybe Meri was planning something bad. What else could be the reason for hiding such good news from Edward- Lala would wonder!

"We're going to Meet Derrick at their house in the palace."Lala said in a low tone but his father heard her right.

"I will come along with you."he said.

"Oh no! My plan would be ruined if he comes along. This silly girl too! she wants to ruin my whole plan."Meri breathed.

It didn't take long before Edward slid in his favorite blue suit with a long sleeved white shirt and black shoes.

"So stunning dad!"Lala commented.

"As if he's the one going to meet with a suitress!"Meri sighed. She was already in bad mood.

Meanwhile Derrick was making himself ready when a knock echoed through the closed door, "who's it?"

"It's me, my highness." It was Allan, his favorite bodyguard.

"What is it that you want."

"Heron's visitors have arrived."he replied before Derrick pulled him inside through the closed door, "What the f**k are you saying? Everyone out there thinks that I'm the one going to marry that girl. You have to get this fact inside your head, do you get that? Thank God no one else heard you otherwise we'd have been finished by now and I'm sure you know how desperately brother, Heron, wants to marry that girl, don't you?"

"I know Sir. I'm very sorry. I won't repeat this mistake ever again, sir."

"It's ok. Now go. And.... keep reminding your fellows to do the same. No one should know what's going on or else...all of you would be fired immediately. Nothing should go wrong today, am I getting myself clear?"he was scolding him.

"Yes my highness."

The two of them fell speechless when they realized that Lala's mother, Meri, had been eavesdropping on their conversation.

"So this is how you are! I knew from the start that my instincts were true about you people. I knew that something was a miss about you and that's why I didn't want my daughter to accept your proposal. So you guys are planning on getting my daughter married to Heron so cunningly like this? Thank God I've found out before you could ruin her precious life.... I won't let you win with this evil plan of yours."she was cursing so hard after receiving a shock of her life. She knew they were bad people but she never imagined they'd stoop so low like that!

How dare they do that! She wished she could run straight to the floor and expose them right away.

"You might've come up messing with different people and maybe got away with it but today, count it your end... because I'm going to expose you in front of everyone."Meri was threatening though it looked like her threats weren't working on Derrick.

"Go from here Allan. I can handle her alone."ignoring Meri's threats, Derrick said and Allan did as told.

"There's nothing you can do to stop this from happening madam. I think you should relax your mind and let everything happen fall into place as per our plan. Hahaha..."Derrick was so annoying!
