Chapter Thirty Eight

Leonel's POV

The sky is beautiful, the sun is blazing hot and the birds are chirping as they dance with the wind.

And there I was walking alone in a vast field with dried crops marching to where I'll possibly meet my death.

And then a group of rebels appeared out of nowhere and pointed their guns at me. I did not fight, and lowered my guard down as I raised my hands to show them I mean no harm.

"Kneel and put your hands behind your back!"

I obeyed and kneeled on the ground, the small bits of rock biting on my skin as I did so. I raised my arm and seconds later, I was binded with a silver rope that would prevent me from shifting.

When they were sure I can't fight, they lowered their guns and almost doubled over in laughter as they mock the position I'm in.

"Look how the roles are reversed. The big almighty Alpha kneeling in front of us. Ain't that something to remember? Make sure you take a video of this and lots of pictures."
